What's Happening this Summer
This summer, Little Footprints is going on tour — and you’re invited!While we work toward opening our permanent Kinderhaus café, we’re bringing the magic of Little Footprints to parks across Munich with a season full of connection, creativity, and community.✨ Here’s what to expect:🎒 Themed Mini Camps (ages 2.5–7) – 3-day morning adventures with play, crafts, movement & more🌳 Family Pop-Ups in the Park – casual drop-in playdates with storytelling, sensory fun, bubbles, and nature walks🧸 English Playgroup Every Monday – a cozy space to meet other parents and enjoy simple play🎉 Special Family Events – big seasonal celebrations with music, movement, and memory-makingAll summer long, your participation helps raise funds for our future space — a cozy, bilingual community café and play space for children and their grown-ups. Come for the fun, stay for the village.

Calling all little drivers, builders, and pilots! We'll explore everything that moves – cars, trucks, bikes, boats, and more. Build cardboard vehicles, race on ramps, and get creative with traffic-themed crafts.🗺️ Week 2: Tiny Travelers
Dates: July 22-25
Animal: Turtle 🐢 | Color: Orange 🧡
Pack your (imaginary) bags and grab your passport—we’re off on a globe-trotting adventure! From creating travel maps and exploring world landmarks to building mini suitcases and trying snacks from different cultures, each day is a new destination. We’ll move like animals from around the world, sing global tunes, and craft our way through continents. Let the journey begin!Off week of July 29-August 1🧑🚒 Week 3: Everyday Heroes

Let’s celebrate the helpers in our world — firefighters, doctors, mail carriers, and more. Kids can dress up, play rescue games, make thank-you cards, and even explore their own superpowers!🌊 Week 4: Under the Sea

Dive deep into ocean play with bubble art, sea creature yoga, water games, and ocean slime! We’ll explore the sea through stories, songs, and sensory fun.🌈 Week 5: Colors & Rainbows

Get ready for a vibrant week of color mixing, wearable art, color scavenger hunts, and playful experiments. Each day will spotlight a different color, with a rainbow celebration to end the week.💜 Week 6: Big Feelings & Little People

Animal: Elephant 🐘 | Color: Purple 💜
We’ll learn about feelings through art, storytelling, movement, and mindfulness. This week is full of gentle fun, self-expression, and community celebration with a joyful end-of-summer parade!
Pop Ups and Family Events
Join us in the parks of Munich for playful afternoons designed to connect kids, parents, and our growing village. Pop-ups are perfect for ages 1-6, with younger and older siblings always welcome. No commitment — just come, play, and be part of the magic.

Who are we?
💛 Little Footprints is a bilingual, inclusive space where families come to connect, play, and grow — together.Founded by Courtney, a mother to twins + one, advocate, community-leader and immigrant to Munich, Little Footprints was born from her own search for community — the kind that feels like a village. A place where parents feel seen and supported, where children can explore freely, and where it’s okay to speak in more than one language.
This summer, we’re taking that vision on the road — with pop-ups, mini camps, and family events across Munich — while raising funds to open our permanent home: a cozy indoor-outdoor Kinderhaus café designed with heart.Our future space will include:🌿 Montessori-inspired play zones for babies to big kids💬 Bilingual classes (English & German) for little explorers🧘 Gentle wellness meetups, workshops, and a space just for parents☕ A café that puts families first — warm, welcoming, and never rushed with healthy and yummy food options.We’re here to bridge cultures, languages, and experiences — creating a space where international and local families can feel at home.
